AS A FRAXSES TECHNICAL CONSULTANT, YOU WILL…
- Analyse stakeholders’ data and reporting requirements from a data function perspective
- Identify, analyse and interpret trends in datasets
- Identify and investigate data issues and liaise with the relevant business and tech teams to resolve them
- Assist stakeholders with transforming and loading data
- Acquire new data from various data sources and aggregate or consolidate data, while maintaining quality assurance of data output to stakeholders
- Adapt, maintain and configure new stakeholder ETL processes to ensure required data is made available within a client’s environment
- Interact regularly with external stakeholders to ensure that they are up-to-date with respect to data insights and data products
- Identify potential solutions that can be utilised to assist clients with their data and analytical journeys
- Co-ordinate and produce bespoke data solutions
- Assist and/or advise clients regarding the processing, cleansing, and verification of data used for pipelining and analysis
- Collaborate with developers, data scientists, data engineers and data owners on multiple projects
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Information Technology and/or Software Engineering. Master’s degree is preferred
- 8+ years’ experience in data analysis and reporting in a consulting capacity (contracting or consulting)
- Additional experience in data and solutions architecture is preferred
- 8+ years’ experience Transaction-SQL / Scripting skills (PostgreSQL and SQL preferred)
- 3+ years of Programming experience (Python or Java preferred)
- Strong proficiency in BI/visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Yellowfin, OBIEE)
- Excellent understanding of databases, data structures and concepts
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
